New York, NY – September 26, 2011 – MTV News is taking Young Hollywood back to High School with our expert’s take on “The New Class” of talented actors and actresses ready to rule the school and graduate to greatness.

The week-long roll-out at TheNewClass.MTV.com will include exclusive interviews with 10 breakthrough actors and actresses, assigning superlatives to each as we create a one-of-a-kind yearbook that we’ll look back on for years to come. In addition, fans will be asked to vote for the student body president – the actor or actress you think will have the brightest future in the industry.

In addition, MTV News’ “The New Class” will include an exclusive first-look from the set of “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” based on the beloved best-selling book, including interviews with Emma Watson, Nina Dobrev, Ezra Miller and Logan Lerman.

Jamie Campbell Bower (“Breaking Dawn,” “Anonymous,” “Mortal Instruments”): Jamie is an actor, singer and former model that has already made teen girl’s hearts flutter as the temperamental Caius in “The Twilight Saga” and acted alongside the namesake of his superlative in “Sweeny Todd.” With his good looks and brooding eyes, Jamie is well positioned in our mind to become THE NEXT JOHNNY DEPP.

Lily Collins (“Mortal Instruments,” “Snow White”): Lily has played the super-supportive sister in “The Blind Side” and is about to show the world just how physical she can get for love in the newly-released “Abduction.” Add to that her upcoming role in “Mortal Instruments” and starring alongside Julia Roberts in a new adaptation of “Snow White” and she is ready, willing and able to be THE ASS-KICKING GIRL NEXT DOOR.
